St. Patrick's seeks to develop, promote, and provide within Ireland, assessment, treatment and aftercare services for people experiencing mental illness. St. Patrick's is committed to being an independent advocate and voice for those experiencing mental illness, harnessing voluntary effort and public support to represent their best interests. The hospital promotes Service User participation at all levels and strives to ensure that those who suffer from mental illness and their families are included, as active participants, in all structures that impact on their lives.
